A little bit about us...

Hello! We are Amelia Richardson and Bella Harrison, the co-founders of Bang Bangs Salon. The two of us first crossed paths at the reputable Aveda Institute in New York City, where where we were both pursuing our passion for cosmetology. The synergy between us was undeniable from the onset; not only did we share a deep passion for hair styling and beauty, but we soon discovered we both hailed from the Southeast—Amelia from Savannah, Georgia, and Bella from Charleston, South Carolina. Our common roots and shared experiences in the vibrant yet demanding environment of New York City fostered a close-knit friendship and a shared vision.

Upon completing our education, we were inspired to bring a slice of New York’s avant-garde style and sophistication to the Southeast. We identified Southern Pines, North Carolina as the perfect location for our venture, given its proximity to Fort Liberty and the discerning clientele in the area seeking a taste of urban sophistication amidst the tranquil southern setting. Bang Bangs Salon was thus conceived with the objective of providing a high-end salon experience reminiscent of the upscale establishments we were accustomed to in New York City. Our salon is a fusion of contemporary styling and southern charm, offering a unique, upscale grooming and styling experience that sets it apart from other local establishments. Through Bang Bangs Salon, Amelia and Bella continue to celebrate our love for innovative hair styling while paying homage to our southern roots.
